Before taking a summer job, check age, employer identity, and document demands

The age floor is a hard limit
Article 15 of the Labour Law prohibits employing anyone under 16. If a recruiter describes this as "an internship" or "a work experience programme," it does not change the rule. Parents can report violations to the local labour inspection authority.
Refuse these three things outright
Upfront deposits or "uniform fees" before starting. Holding your ID card or any other official document. Contracts that name a third-party staffing agency when you will actually be working elsewhere. Legitimate employers do not require prepayments.
What to check before signing
Confirm the employer name on the contract matches the business licence. Ensure the job title, hours, wage rate, and pay date are written clearly. If there is a probation period, wages during probation must be at least 80% of the local minimum wage. Keep a copy of everything you sign.
